Bio

Gabriele Rizzo is an author, speaker, professor, and advisor with nearly 20 years of transforming leading-edge foresight into results for the largest organizations on the planet — governments, defense, academia, and the industrial base. He has advised top civilian and military leaders of the United States, Italy, Switzerland, and NATO on decisions ranging from millions to trillions of dollars.

In 2017, NATO named him Member at Large for Strategic Foresight, and he has since served on its Science and Technology Board. In 2022, UNESCO elected him – its youngest recipient ever – as a UNESCO Chair in Futures Studies, the field’s highest honor. In 2025, he became a Full Member of the Club of Rome, an Executive Board Member of the World Futures Studies Federation, and a Senior Fellow of the World Academy of Art and Science.

Currently Executive Partner at Longviews, Dr. Rizzo has previously advised the Italian Defense Minister in her Cabinet, the U.S. Space Force, and the U.S. Air Force, and worked with Meta, Renault, Firmenich, and Leonardo. He holds a Ph.D. in String Theory and Astrophysics, with postdoctoral education at Italy’s National Institute for Advanced Mathematics. His best-selling book is HR Futures 2030, with a Springer handbook on foresight forthcoming.
