Elena Yunusov is the founder and executive director of the Human Feedback Foundation, a Linux Foundation AI & Data nonprofit that advances human-centred AI. She leads RAISE — Responsible AI Adoption for Social Impact, Canada’s first national program — backed by DIGITAL, Toronto Metropolitan University’s Dais and Creative Destruction Lab, that is upskilling more than 500 nonprofit professionals and piloting AI solutions with leading charities such as the Canadian Cancer Society, CanadaHelps, the CAMH (Centre for Addiction and Mental Health) Foundation and others.
She serves on Northeastern University’s MS in Cyber-Physical Systems advisory committee, runs AI Tinkerers Toronto — Canada’s largest community of more than 4,000 AI/machine-learning builders and entrepreneurs — and has been named among the top women in Canadian tech by BetaKit.
Across all her work, Elena champions open, human-centred AI and helps organizations adopt and govern AI responsibly, creating pathways for under-represented voices in the field.
