Alex Vronces is a writer and policy analyst focused on finance and technology. With experience in not-for-profit leadership, policy advocacy and research, and journalism, he works with industry and organizations such as lobby groups and think tanks on a select basis.
Alex previously led a national not-for-profit lobby group for financial technology companies. Before that, he worked at Payments Canada in policy, research and government affairs, as well as at the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in a similar role.
Working closely with government officials and industry executives to modernize financial sector laws, Alex has spent over a decade studying how technological change and political economy influence institutional evolution. He holds a combined honours degree in economics and journalism.
